An AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety has an influential role that engages and interacts with students (4 years – adults)  leading tasks and drills that provide knowledge and skills.

AUSTSWIM Teacher of Infant and Preschool Aquatics™ (INF)

This Course provides the candidate with the competence required to deliver safe and enjoyable aquatic programs for children between the age of 6 months to 4 years.

AUSTSWIM Teacher of Towards Competitive Strokes™ (TCS)

The Teacher of Towards Competitive Strokes Course aims to provide candidates with the competencies to bridge the gap between the teaching and coaching of swimming.

AUSTSWIM Teacher of Aquatics – Access and Inclusion (TAI)

This course is designed to provide the knowledge and information required to deliver programs and services that meet the needs of a diverse range of people who use the aquatic environment.

The AUSTSWIM accreditation is the industry standard for Swimming and Water Safety Teachers™ and is delivered and recognised in each state and territory of Australia and many countries overseas.

Opportunities exist for licenced AUSTSWIM teachers™ to further your training. These include accredited courses and professional development workshops, conferences, seminars and forums.

AUSTSWIM provides Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), a process for recognising qualifications and statements of attainment as a pathway for accreditation and issue of an AUSTSWIM Teacher Licence.
