What training do I start with?
It is recommended you undertake the Presenter of Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety™ (TSW) training initially because:

The Presenter of Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety training acts as a good building block for all other AUSTSWIM training and therefore you will have vital knowledge that you will be able to pass onto candidates.
What skills/qualifications do I need to have to apply for the Presenter of the AUSTSWIM TSW course?
- Current AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety™ accreditation
- At least 2 years of school aged swimming teaching experience encompassing a minimum of 300 hours (with a range of age, ability and class sizes)
- Holds or is willing to work towards a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110).
What does the AUSTSWIM Presenters training involve?
The AUSTSWIM Presenter of Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety™ accreditation is designed to provide you with knowledge and skills in the delivery and assessment of the AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety™ course. The course consists of a minimum of 2 days attendance including theory and practical components and involves a combination of at course assessment, take home assignment, observation, questioning, role play, on the job training hours and assessment.
